To the family, not a day goes by that I don't think about all the Saturdays that our parents took us to the farm to hang out with all of you. I look into those kind blue eyes, he was a kind and caring man. He will truly be missed. He will live our hearts forever. I have many fond memories of my birth place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, of which includes some of my favorites at my Uncle Jake's farm in Stonewall. As a kid playing hide and seek around the barns and endless fields and of course most important, as a young man working on the dairy with my uncle. Early morning milking, the haying, and the best fun of driving trucks and tractors. All the while spending time with this awesome man who has become a rock in my recollection of memories. His world of dedication, calmness and understanding has marked me for life. I will always love him and never forget him. To my best cousin Nancy, and all the Voogt family I give you my heartfelt sadness for this loss. From the Lagerwerf family here on the west coast, even though a distance apart, feel us close. - Posted by: Rick Lagerwerf (Nephew) on: Jun 04, 2012

I was lucky to meet Mr. Voogt through his daughter, Nancy, about 10 years ago. He was a genuine, kind, funny and caring man that truly wanted the best for anyone he met. It was an honour to have known him. - Posted by: Carole Gauthier (Friend) on: Jun 04, 2012
