DAVID PLUMMER It is with great sadness that the Plummer family announces the death of their patriarch David Plummer on June 5, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre. David left behind the love of his life, Giesela Plummer. They had just celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary the last week of May. Also left to remember him are his children Lisa (George) and Darren (Cheryl); sisters-in-law Barb (Dale), Monica (Rick), Erica (Ron), Diana (Jim) and Roberta (Tom); brother-in-law Henry (Debbie); his brothers John and Greg; his grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. It was a great relief to our spirits to have had the support and prayers of our family during this time. Many sincere thanks to the staff of the Health Sciences Centre: PX2, Dialysis, GD3, the Step-Down Unit and ICU wards for their great concern and care during the last several months. Cremation has taken place and at David's request a private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, (930 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB 982-6100) or the Canadian Kidney Foundation (1-452 Dovercourt Drive, Winnipeg, MB 989-0800 / 1-800-729-7176). At a time in my life when I was in great need of help, Dave and Giesela were there to provide it. I was very thankful for their friendship then and look back today fondly at the help they provided to me. I am sorry to have just heard of Dave's passing and trust that all is well with the rest of the family. - Posted by: Ted Whicker (Friend) on: Mar 11, 2019

Our families spent a short time together on Weir Cr. in West Hill Ontario. You guys followed the armed forces way to Trento, Camp borden and beond. John came to my wedding ceremony on Oct 8/68 and i haven't seen him since. I would love someone from the family to get in touch with me for an update on these past 47 years. For many years, you were my father in law, you taught me many lessons that I shall cherish for the rest of my days. May you forever rest in peace Dad. - Posted by: Terry-Lynn Plummer () on: Jun 09, 2012
