Shirley was known to me as "Fossil". Each time we were together we shared memories and laughs. Times that I was at her place, she would always ask "what can I get you to drink" Fossil was genuine and will be missed. - Posted by: Cheryl Cole (Colestein) (Friend) on: Jun 26, 2012

Shirley and I were school friends for several years. Although I left Winnipeg many years ago I appreciated the visits with Shirley at the ladies' luncheons during my travels to Winnipeg. We will all miss Pinky. - Posted by: Sylvia Anderson (Friend) on: Jun 26, 2012

"Pinky" and I met in 1952 in Grade 10 at St. James Collegiate and have been friends ever since. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a lot of fun. Eleanor, Marg and I used to get together for lunch. In fact we just celebrated her 75th birthday. Eight of us who met in school celebrated our 60th birthdays by all flying to Vegas for 4 days in 1967 and I have many fond memories and pictures of that trip. She will be missed. Rest in peace Pinky. - Posted by: Gail Foster (Dear friend) on: Jun 24, 2012

Shirley has been a dear friend since high school days. We both worked at T.C.A. I have not lived in Wpg. for many years but we have always stayed in close contact via phone and the odd visit. So many fond memories and she will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Pat & Ron Richardson (friends) on: Jun 24, 2012
