Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Uncle Andrew holds a very special place in our hearts. Growing up we always looked forward to summer as Uncle Andy, Aunty Eva and Chris and Linda would come for a visit to the farm in Ituna,Sask.Uncle Andy was so talented in so many ways and would help with trucking grain or helping dad fix a tractor. He always had so much patience and knowledge. We will miss you and you will always be in our memories. - Posted by: Danny Kozak &family (Nephew) on: Jul 15, 2012

  • Memories of a precious time in my life...your father, Pastor Andrew, a gentle person..had a remarkable memory in remembering faces and names.. At the Maples Personal Care Home...he greeted each resident by name, smile and kind word..during his sermon..he would translate into Ukrainian and all would pray..then a request for a hymn....I played the piano..he prayed and all would join him with exuberant great joy in prayer and hymn..and then another request in Ukrainian..piano, Pastor Andrew, and all voices were heard through all the halls...no one wanted to go for lunch..but the little auditorium was filled with more patients and nurses singing their hearts out...He is gone, but his memory remains to guide the living..VICHNAYA PAM'YAT - Posted by: joan Balas LPN; ARCT (played the piano at personal care home for the pastoral services) on: Jul 12, 2012
