To our Cousins Elsie, Alex and Terry- Auntie Mary was the aunt that, as children living in Emerson, we saw most often: it was about a 20-minute ride from our house to yours. In summer, whenever our family visited Dominion City, most often during the mid-week early in the evening, we went directly from our car to tour and appreciate Auntie's flourishing garden. Even though our visit was unexpected, Auntie's house was always spotless and she was always prepared to offer us her tangy dill pickles and generous pieces of rich dark chocolate cake. In a kindly way she encouraged her nieces to be obedient, beginning her reminders with the words "Momma says". These are just a few of our memories of your Mother, our Auntie Mary. We offer our sincere condolences to you and your families.
