MITCHELL SCOTT THOMAS 1956 - 2012 It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Mitchell, on July 10, 2012 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. He leaves to mourn his daughter Francine (Bobby), granddaughter Sarah, sisters Lisa (Mike), Barb (Doug), Yvonne (Bernie), Kelly (Lindsay) and Carla; brothers Sheldon and Alfred. He was predeceased by his wife Lori, his parents Maxine and Harvey, his brother Delmar, and nephew Jordan. He will also be missed by countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Years ago he was diagnosed with brain cancer and had undergone a long battle to successfully see it into remission. Unfortunately he had to go to battle a second time to deal with complications of the disease for many more years. He always kept a positive attitude, his clever wit and his offbeat sense of humour. Life kept knocking him down and he always got up for another round. He loved and adored his Noodle Francine and his granddaughter Sarah. They were the center of his universe. The Thomas family would like to extend their gratitude to Mel and Rowena for their compassionate, kind care they provided to our brother for the past five years.
