Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySADIE WARKENTIN It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Sadie Warkentin. She was born on June 23, 1922, and passed on to her Heavenly home on July 13, 2012, at the age of 90. Sadie was predeceased by her husband Art on June 13, 1983, granddaughter Angela on December 18, 1977, her sister Anne on September 14, 2011, two brothers-in-law (Alan Penner and Glen Murphy), her parents and five siblings in infancy. She will be lovingly and forever remembered by her children Shirley (Henry), Phyllis, Margaret (John), Joan (Ike) and Mike (Pat), 13 grandchildren and their spouses and families, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and her sisters Mary Penner and Laura Murphy and their families. The funeral service will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr, Steinbach on Wednesday, July 18 at 1:00 p.m. with viewing prior to the service. Interment at Memorial Cemetery.
