I am Scott's cousin who hasn't seen Scott since he was a little boy. I left Winnipeg over 30 years ago. I just remember he and I were the only Rodway's with red hair and as a child I always thought we were special. I am very saddened to hear of his passing and it makes me wish I would have kept in touch with him. - Posted by: Marlene Dunn (Rodway) (Cousin) on: Jul 24, 2012

I met Scott working @ the Sheraton Hotel, (Wpg). He was truly a big, warm hearted teddy bear. A true heart of gold. Always willing to help anyone. A real pleasure to work with and be around!! I hold him close to my heart because Scott personally touched my soul when he helped me @ a time that I needed it the most. Over the years we lost contact as we moved on with new paths. We recently reconnected & I was elated......only to have that taken away by this tragedy....... I will hold him close to my heart. You are an ANGEL Scott:) Love: Annalisa - Posted by: Annalisa (DeThomasis) McAlpine (Coworker & friend) on: Jul 24, 2012

Scott and I were classmates for 6 months. We sat next to each other doing the Advanced Emergegency Course, he is a big Teddy Bear and he will be missed. My condolences to his loved ones, my heart goes out to you all. - Posted by: Ana Herntier (Classmate) on: Jul 24, 2012

I met Scott through my brother as they were co-workers. Years later we met again in Calgary and ended up roommates until we got settled in our new city. Scott became a very good family friend - I would cook dinner once a week as he loved filipino food and in turn he would bring my kids timbits and we would sit and play crib for hours on end. Scott was one of our closest friends and he will be missed dearly. Rest in peace buddy!!!!! - Posted by: Steve & Fabiana Martens (Friends) on: Jul 23, 2012
