MARGARET MCDONALD March 9, 1929 - July 23, 2012 With great sadness we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Margaret McDonald. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Ken McDonald, in 2005. Mom is survived by her children Paula Ashcroft (Rob), Jill Overall (Eric), Ian, and Steve (Irene), and grandchildren Mitch, Paul, Matt, Rebecca and Samantha. A private funeral will be held Thursday, July 26 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

  • Through Jill and Eric, I met Margaret several times at the race track or while out with the family. I admired her joy of life, her sense of humour, her calm demeanour and her 'slight' accent. I know she was dearly loved and esteemed by the Overalls and that they will sorely miss her.
