LUCIEN TETREAULT Peacefully on July 24, 2012, Lucien Tetreault passed away at the St. Claude Pavillon at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Robert (Claire), Richard (Lei), and daughter-in-law Suzanne; grandchildren Corinne (Kenji), Brigitte (Juan Carlos), Michel (Stephanie), Leanne (Mike), Monique (Norm), Danielle (Hudson), Anita (Tom), and Marc (Shaina); great-grandchildren Chloë, Samuel, Pablo, Antonio, Leonardo, and Christopher. He also leaves to mourn his sisters and brothers Jeanne, Olive, Irma, Oril (Fleurette), Rachelle, Claude (Vicky), and Yvon (Robin) and sisters-in-law Doris and Cecile and brother-in-law Arthur (Marie) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Olivier and Marie-Louise (née Laurin), his loving wife Rose (née Gagné), son Gerald, brothers and sisters Louise (Olivier), Irene (Joey), Jean (Flore), Georgette, Paul, Clairette (Roland), and brothers/sisters-in-law Joe Mousseau, Joe Ferland, Charlotte Tetreault, Therese and Marcel Coté, Marcel Ruest, Benoit Gagné, and Jean-Louis Coutu. Lucien loved his family dearly and they were always his top priority. He was a devoted husband, a cherished father, a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He spent quiet days on his woodcarvings except in the summer, which would be spent on the golf course with family and friends. Lucien had a charismatic personality that drew people to him. We will always remember him at the background of family gatherings and the forefront of our minds with his special grin and a twinkle in his eye. He will always hold a special spot in our hearts. Prayers will be held on Thursday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., Winnipeg, MB. Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, July 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church, St. Claude, MB with funeral mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at a later date.
