Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Janet, Lisa & Lauren - our hearts are breaking for your family. Herb was a wonderful neighbour, very kind, always a wave and a great hello in passing. We had some good "sidewalk" chats over the years and we cherished that we had a connection with your family always taking an interest in Noah & Josh. Herb always made a special point in asking about boys. He enjoyed reminiscing about his girls growing up:) Your kindness and soft spirit Herb will live on in your daughters. We will miss you. - Posted by: Pam, Brian, Noah & Josh (CURTIS) (Neighbours) on: Aug 21, 2012

  • Our deepest sympathy goes out to Janet, Lauren & Lisa....Herb was a kind person and always a pleasure to talk to. We have fond memories of Herb when our daughters played baseball together. He was always there cheering them on, sharing his freezies with the girls. Always smiling and happy...that was Herb. You will always be remembered and hold a special place in our hearts. You will be missed by all that knew you. - Posted by: Ross,Mary,Heather & Colleen Mitchell (Friends) on: Jul 26, 2012

  • Herb's kind and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew him. He had a special respect and high regard for the seniors in his life, family history, pets, garage sales and old trucks. Most of all, he loved his family. Sincere condolences to Janet, (the love of his life), Lauren and Lisa. - Gar and Anne - Posted by: Gar Darroch (cousin) on: Jul 25, 2012

  • Herb was a kind and loving person. He cared deeply about animals and people. I met Herb and his family while walking in the area opposite the Air Canada Maintenance Hanger. He was always so concerned about the deer and other critters there. He will always be fondly remembered. My condolences to Janet, Lauren and Lisa. He loved you so much. Herb was such a wonderful person and I will always keep him close to heart. Ev, Chuck & Skye - Posted by: Ev (acquaintance) on: Jul 25, 2012

  • My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Herb will be greatly missed by not only his immediate family but by all. His life has been too short but I know that all of you will cherish all the fond memories of all the good times together. - Posted by: Joy Pritchett-Sheridan (Cousin) on: Jul 25, 2012

  • My heart goes out to a wonderful man with a fantastic family. My fondest memories of Herb were camping and Herb and Norm fighting over who could build the biggest fire and just about blowing up the campsite. They were great times my friend, thank you for including me in them. All my love to your wonderful wife and beautiful daughters. I will have you in my heart forever. - Posted by: Wendy Goalen (Friend ) on: Jul 25, 2012
