Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMMA (AMY) SMOLINSKI (nee FRANKE) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (OMI), Emma Smolinski. Peacefully on July 24, 2012, at the Health Sciences Centre. Emma was predeceased by her daughter, Ilona Krohn, brothers: Helmut, Ernst Franke, sisters: Erika, Leni, and Lisbeth. She is survived by her loving husband, Erwin Smolinski, her children: Anita Krohn, Nancy Vogt (Craig) and Harry Smolinski (Maureen), (Lutz Krohn (Irma)),her great-grandchildren: Diana LaPlume (Randy), Craig Krohn (Emily Dolan), Reimund Krohn (Lynn), Connie Krohn (Treena), Terra Buisse (Andre), Tyler Vogt, Lynne Smolinski and Curt Smolinski (Emily), and also great-grandchildren: Miranda and Mia LaPlume, Devon, Isabella, Aeden, Anastasia Krohn, Kayla, Sadie and Julia Buisse and her brother-in-law: Siegfried Smolinski (Linda Bourgeois). Emma was born on November 5, 1921, in Germany. She married Erwin Smolinski on June 5, 1948, coming to Canada in 1953. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and other staff in ward GD5 at Health Sciences Centre. A service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Friday, August 3, 2012. Viewing starts at 1:00 p.m., the Service at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca
