We would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Victoria hospital for their thoughtful care. Nov. 4/12. I have just found out about Lee's passing and am in shock. I spoke with Lee by phone last June and she made no mention that she was ill. You have lost a wonderful sister, and I have lost a true friend. We worked together in the bank back in the 50's and I attended her wedding to Theo and visited them in Montreal and later on in Burlington. I was very happy to hear she was returning to Winnipeg, close to family, and looked forward to seeing her there. Auntie Lee was a warm, kind & friendly lady. She treated my brother Brian & I like her own children. Even though we lived miles away, she & Theo always kept up with our lives with interest.
