THERESA JUDITH KIPLING January 21, 1958 - July 30, 2012 Peacefully with family by her side, Theresa passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Theresa was predeceased by her brother Anthony and his wife Terry Atkinson; mother and father-in-law Joyce and Walter Kipling. She is survived by her husband Brian; son Chad; her mother Martha and father Earl Atkinson; brothers, Tom and John; sisters, Lori and Janice (Kip); nephews Dale (May), Daniel (Rachel); nieces Christine (Mike), Jessica and Jenna; brothers-in-law, David, Greg (Sherry); sister-in-law Patricia (Howard); niece Celine (Nolan) and great-nephew Everett. Their family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the dedicated staff at CancerCare Manitoba, especially Kathy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Room ON1L60-575 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. A celebration of Theresa's life will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with reception to follow. So very sorry to hear about Terry's passing. I remember when Brian and Terry first started dating and I remember watching them slow dancing at the Brooklands Rec Centre thinking what a perfect match. I still remember the day Brian introduced me to Terry,many many years ago..He was on cloud nine, and within the first half hour I knew why. Terry was a wonderful beautiful, intelligent,honest loving girl...I liked her immediately. Brian, my deepest sympathy goes out to you and your son. I never had the pleasure of meeting your wife but I know how lovingly you always spoke of her and the good times you had together. I especially remember the story you told me of younger years, cruising around in your 65 Comet 2 door hardtop and she would let her long hair flow out the window and blow in the breeze. Brian & Chad I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your loving wife and mother to Chad. I will always remember seeing you Brian holding your wife's hand walking with Chad & the dog. I would always think what a loving family, it was so nice to see.
