EVELYN BARTON PAULISHYN (nee HUNTER) 1923 - 2012 Suddenly and peacefully, Evelyn passed away August 9, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1994, her parents, and brothers and sisters. Left to celebrate her life is her children Diane, Valerie (Kees), John (Noreen), Sharon (Wayne), Darlene, her grandchildren Tamara and Nick (Jamie) and great-grandson Miles. Evelyn served in the Air Force, and was a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 66 years. Mom was known for her wonderful cooking and baking, knitting and cross stitch many of these items were lovingly created for her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed her vegetable garden and rosebushes. Her home was always open for family and friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
