Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE EXELDA LESAGE (RHEAULT) It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Jeanne Lesage of Steinbach, Manitoba, on Friday, August 10, 2012, at the age of 85 years. Mourning her loss are her children Rose Giesbrecht (Denis), Rene Lesage (Val), Guy Lesage (Irene), Adele Penner (Randy), Vic Lesage (Brenda), Susan Friesen (Paul), Yvonne MacPherson (Stewart), Norbert Lesage (Val), Paul Lesage (Tina), and Annette Delorme. She also leaves to mourn numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeanne is also survived by two sisters Yvonne Geirnaert (Marvin), Yvette Leblanc and one brother Ernest Rheault (Juliette) and one sister-in-law Madeleine Rheault. She was predeceased by her husband Leo and one daughter Rita Friesen (Cornie). Mom was born on February 6, 1927, and died peacefully at the Bethesda Hospital on August 10 with her family at her side. Mom was known for her love of gardening and baking. Her cinnamon buns and homemade donuts were loved by many. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at 12:30 p.m. with funeral to follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Christ Our Saviour Catholic Church, 365 Loewen Blvd, Steinbach. Interment will follow in the Steinbach Heritage Cemetery. The Lesage family would like to thank everyone for their support during the time of Jeanne's illness. Je viens juste d' apprendre la triste nouvelle de votre chère Maman grandmaman et je tiens à vous dire que je suis très attristée. Vous êtes dans nos pensées et nos prières. Je n'ai pas beaucoup connu votre Maman mais j'ai la chance de vous connaître Gilles Bernard Lucien Noel Martial David Stéphane Pierette Aline Nathalie. Quelle énorme femme. On pense à vous tous. My dear cousins, My fondest memories of your Mom is knowing that when you walked into your house that you would always find her in the kitchen cooking or canning, (yes, the doughnuts were yummy and so were the pickles) the whole time surrounded by children, your dad and his friends.
