Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET ALICE LEFEBVRE (nee ROBINSON) 1942 - 2012 On August 11, 2012, our beloved mother and grandmother, Madge Lefebvre, formerly of Argyle, passed away peacefully at the Selkirk General Hospital. Madge leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gail of Winnipeg, Paul (Shelley) of Edmonton, and Linda (Edward) Tomczak; granddaughters, Jenna, Jaclyn and Courtney Lefebvre of Edmonton, Lauren (Michael) Lamb of Vernon, BC, and Robyn (Josh) Romaniuk of Calgary, AB; and great-grandchildren Xavier Lamb and Lyla Romaniuk. Predeceased by her husband Louis Lefebvre (1982) of Argyle; her parents John and Agnes Robinson of Garstang, Lancashire, England; and her sister Bella Akrigg of Halifax, England. Madge was born July 25, 1924 in Garstang, Lancashire, England and moved to Canada in 1945 after marrying Corporal Louis Lefebvre. They settled in Argyle and farmed until Louis passed. Madge continued to live on the farm until she moved to Stonewall in 1987. Madge's skills included baking, knitting, gardening and being a loving mother to her family. She was a cheerleader/coach at her children and grandchildren's sports events / activities. We will forever miss that sparkle in her English blue eyes and her sense of humour. A special thank you to the staff at Selkirk Red River Place for their considerate care of mum. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Anglican Church of Ascension, 435 1st Avenue N., Stonewall, MB. Reverend James Bardsley officiating with interment in Stonewall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Manitoba Division Office, Suite 100, 1465 Buffalo Place, Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8. Our condolences to Gail, Paul, Linda and families on Madge's passing. The Park's have so many heartwarming memories of visiting with Madge, Louie and family over the years.
