LYNDA ANN YESTRAU (nee SHEPLEY) December 23, 1947 August 10, 2012 Unexpectedly Lynda passed away peacefully in her home with her dog Sassy by her side. Lynda will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by her husband Harry and her children, step-children, many grandchildren, a brother, a sister, numerous nieces and nephews, friends, her dog Sassy and cat Buster Brown. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, a sister and a step-granddaughter. Lynda was born in Moose Jaw, SK and raised on her family farm in Boharm, SK. She moved to Winnipeg in 1966 where she started her family. In 1976 she moved to Anola to raise her four children. In 1988 she started her life with Harry in Transcona and they eventually settled in Bird's Hill Trailer Park. Since she was a little girl she had a passion and understanding of horses. This helped her become a trainer and barrel rider and an expert at taming horses. There was no horse she couldn't break! She also enjoyed a love of baseball, pool, and sitting around the kitchen table playing cards and other board games. Her strong work ethic led her to multiple job opportunities including medical clinics, Mulder's Construction and most recently Kitchen Craft. Later in life she enjoyed her time camping with Harry, her grandchildren and her good friend Sue. Her ultimate priority was always her husband, her family (especially her grandchildren) and her closest friends. You were and always will be a cherished wife, Mom and Gramma. A special thanks to Bob, the RCMP and the paramedics. A celebration of Lynda's life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the OakBank Baptist Church, 26 033 Springfield Road in OakBank. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her name to The Humane Society. Seasons Funeral Chapel - OakBank
