LENA SHEPIT (nee MAKOWSKI) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our mom, grandma, baba, Great Grandma and old Baba. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the age of 79. She is predeceased by her husband Michael Shepit (1988) her siblings (Bill, Nettie, Olga, Mike) and most recently her beloved son Mel Shepit (February 3, 2012). She is survived by her two children Janet Brenner (Roy), Dan Shepit (Din), daughter in- law Barb Shepit. She leaves behind to mourn numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. It is at this time we would like to sincerely thank all the staff at St. Joseph Residence for their loving care provided to our mother. The Prayers/viewing will be on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., funeral and burial will be on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home and Chapel, 1 Green Acres Lane on Highway #1. Donations of your choice can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the St. Joseph Residence. Thank you all for your love and support, it is very much appreciated.
