What does one say about Hattie? These four city girls who came to stay at their grandparents (Victor and Erna Poersch) every summer. We had the best times when Nana would take us over to Hattie's. She would let us play in the garden and feed us usually whatever we wanted. We would go missing and Nana knew where we were. You always had a smile on your face no matter what. You will be missed but we will treasure all of the wonderful times we had with you. - Posted by: Catherine, Christine, Jacqueline and Colleen Poersch () on: Aug 16, 2012

Hattie was one of the first people I met when I moved from Winnipeg. I was working at the store in Brunkild & she would make a daily visit to pick up her paper & chat! She was always knee deep in her garden & always was smiling! She will be thought of often & missed dearly! - Posted by: Debra Hanna (community member) on: Aug 16, 2012

Will always remember coming to your house whenever we were in Brunkild. Mom & Dad would never go without stopping in and Dad (Ally-Boy) giving you the gears. I guess you can pay him back now hey? God Bless you and all your family. You will be dearly missed. from the Allan & Shirley Grabowsky Family - Posted by: Carla Grabowsky-Harvey (great neice) on: Aug 16, 2012

God Bless this special person. I've known Auntie for 18 years and love her dearly. I'd always tease her why she never aged or looked her age, she'd grab my face and kiss me and yell puff I'm old you know lol. Everytime we'd go to see mama Edward and I would drop in with open arms great food. Auntie you have left many beautiful memories and footie prints in my heart I'll always be grateful to have known a beautiful person.T his world was a better place cause you were in it. God has swept you away to go home but you will always live on in our hearts and story telling. I love you Auntie and be good on the otherside lol.
