Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY WALZER (nee CORBETT) 1922 - 2012 With family by her side, Mary passed away on August 23, 2012 at the Golden West Centennial Lodge. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald in 2007. Those left to cherish her memory are her son Bruce (Susan), daughter Judy, grandchildren Jason (Pam) and Shea, and her great-grandsons Tristan and Noah. On July 30, 1957 Mary married Donald and established their home in Headingley, Manitoba. Mary enjoyed dancing with her husband both in their courtship and in their later years when they ran Old Time Dances at various venues throughout Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

I grew up with Bruce in Headingley as one of my very best buddies and hung around with him mostly at their house. Mrs. Walzer was great, fed me delicious balanced meals uncountable times and even hand-washed my underwear at their Matlock cabin Twin Gables.
