PETER BARTEL Peter Bartel, aged 74, of Lorette, MB formerly of Grunthal, passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Peter is survived by: two daughters, three sons and their families; one sister and three brothers and their families. He was predeceased by his wife, Bertha, two sisters and one brother. The funeral for Peter Bartel will take place on Saturday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive in Steinbach. There will be a viewing on Friday, August 31, from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel and prior to the funeral service. The burial will take place at Grunthal Cemetery.
