Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELSIE LOUISE MITCHELL January 2, 1922 - August 28, 2012 We mourn the loss but celebrate the life of Elsie Louise Mitchell (nee Wallace) who died peacefully on August 28, 2012. Elsie, Mom, Gran, Nana and Great-Granny was loved by all. She is survived by her children Louise, Ken (Sandie), Janet, (George), Marilyn (Merv), as well as her seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one to be arriving in the near future. Elsie is also survived by her sisters Alice (Grant) and Isobel and their families. Elsie was predeceased by her loving husband Ellis Mitch in 2001, her parents Jim and Jean Wallace, her brother Dave and great-grandson Joseph. Elsie has been a resident of Concordia Place, 2nd Floor since November 2010. There are no words to express our gratitude to the staff for the loving care given to our Mom and the support and kindness they have shown to the family especially over the past six weeks. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate Elsie's life in late September. An announcement will be published in this paper providing the information. My mom and dad moved in next door to Ellis and Elsie in Paradise Village. They weren't neighbours for a long period of time but Ellis & Elsie had a huge impact on our family.
