MARY TAYLOR Peacefully, on Friday, August 31, 2012, Mary passed away at the age of 89 years. Mary was predeceased by Thomas, her husband of 63 years, in October, 2008. Mary is survived by daughters Beverly Heiser (Donald) and Rosemarie Fahl (Jim Foster), by son Thomas (Carrie), by grandchildren Teresa Ziegler (Kelly) and Trent Heiser (Lian) and by four great-grandchildren Cody and Nicole Ziegler and Nicholas and Callie Heiser. Born June 4, 1923 on the family farm near Wroxton, Saskatchewan, Mary came from a family of nine brothers and two sisters. She enjoyed her early days on the family farm. During the war, Mary met Thomas who was a member of the R.C.A.F. Thomas and Mary married and later moved to Winnipeg. Mary was a devoted wife and mother. Her love and words of kindness will always be remembered. Mary always had a sense of determination and dependability. Her talent for gardening was recognized by many who walked by her vegetable and flower garden. Special thanks and deepest gratitude go out to Nursing Station 1 staff at Extendicare Tuxedo Villa. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5 at the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. (across from Brookside Cemetery).
