Arno was a brilliant man with stories that seemed to tie history together. He was a man of integrity, never wanting to hurt anyone. I only got to know him over the last 5 years ago, but his impact on me will never be forgotten. Loved the trips to Roseau that we made. I think of you often my friend and you will be deeply missed. To Dagmar, Tony and the family please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. - Posted by: Steven Neufeld (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2012

Arno worked at my Dad's hardware store (Delta Hardware & Appliances in St. Vital) for several years in the 60's and early 70's. As a young boy I was always impressed as to how he could fix anything. I remember visiting his home near St. Adolphe and marvelled at how he converted his home windows to an electronic system. My Dad and he lost touch over the years but I managed to get them together for one last visit in 2010 (a year before my Dad passed). Arno had a suite at the Niverville Credit Union Manor that was neat as a pin and stocked with so many books that you'd swear you were in a library. Arno was a brilliant, yet humble, gentleman who made the most of any situation he came upon. Rest in peace Arno. - Posted by: Bill Head (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2012
