Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHNNEY JAMES (DESCHAMPS) MARTIN Born September 15, 1952, at Delamere, Ontario, Johnney passed away peacefully on October 5, 2010 at Selkirk General Hospital. Dearly beloved and sadly missed, by his wife Lois of 27 years. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers (Gary, Kenny and Rocky) and is survived by his sister, Yvonne (Jake) and three estranged adult children. Gentle of heart, Johnney helped people whenever he could. Sober since 1984, he was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous. A skilled craftsman, Johnney loved cars, camping, fishing and working with his hands. At the time of his death Johnney was employed by the City of Winnipeg. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow. Donations may be made to The Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. Now with God, Johnney is as free as the eagles he so dearly loved. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca
