Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPERRY JAMES SIMCOE October 14, 1970 - September 10, 2012 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear son and brother on Monday, September 10, 2012. Left to cherish Perry's memory are his parents Fred and Nettie, sister Rosemary (Kendall), brothers Bruce (Mona) and Dale (Lori) along with his nephews and nieces that he always looked forward to seeing (Nicholas, Jamie, Derek, Joshua, Emily, and Sarah) as well as Perry's second family in Stonewall where he resided. Perry was born and raised in Komarno, MB. Perry's special gift of Downs Syndrome made him our shining star. He was always our bright light and brought smiles to our faces. Perry had many friends in Stonewall where he both resided and worked at the Arris Centre where he will be sadly missed. Perry's favourite pastimes were watching wrestling and hockey. He loved his superheros, Superman, Spiderman and the Hulk. Perry was fortunate to go on two trips to Vancouver and Las Vegas. One of his highlights was the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Perry loved to dance and would polka till nights end. The family would like to especially thank Jarvis and all of Perry's home caregivers for their outstanding help and support. Cst. Jason Dyment from the Stonewall R.C.M.P. and the paramedics and staff of the Stonewall and District Health Centre as well as Rev. Leonard Oracheski for his pastoral care at the hospital. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Komarno Holy Trinity Cemetery followed by a gathering of family and friends at Komarno Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stonewall Arris Centre, Res 1 at Box 1222 Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0 in Perry's memory. MACKENZIE FUNERAL CHAPEL STONEWALL (204) 467-2525 mackhome@mts.net

Perry was a fantastic person to be around. I loved walking into the Chercoe residence and being greeted by Perry as "Hi Jake". He will be missed. - Posted by: Jason McDonald (Friend) on: Sep 14, 2012

Seeing Perry with his parents, Fred and Nettie, ( usually in Chicken Chef) when Perry came to Teulon for a visit was always such a pleasant and heart-warming time and my thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of your dear son. Perry was my best friend and my big brother. I had some amazing times with him. This all comes as such a shock. I love you buddy and I know they'll have a bunch of wrestling magazines and a big recliner waitin for you up there bud! I won't ever ever forget you and the huge influence that you've had on me, I am who I am today partially because of having you in my life. Farewell friend.
