WALTER (WALLY) ROBERT JOSS Peacefully on September 17, 2012, with his family at his side, the Lord opened His arms and called His son Walter Joss to his final resting place. Born on June 3, 1928 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Walter leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Bernice; their six children, Theresa (Orville) Bilous - North Battleford, Marianne (Edward) Evashuk - Calgary, Cynthia (Andrew) Fowler - Victoria, Blaine (Kathy), Greg, and Kathy (Brian) Reinisch, and eight grandchildren Scott, Kristin, Brad, Bryan, Kimberly, Shelby, Melissa and Jenna. Walter also leaves his brother Ronald (Eva), sister Adelene and numerous other family members. He was predeceased by his parents William and Nettie Joss, brothers Jack, William and Edward, and granddaughter Andrea. Dad was an active member of St. Alphonsus Church and the Knights of Columbus. He loved country music, the outdoors, sports, fishing trips with his sons and camping trips with his family. He was an avid fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Jets and Goldeyes plus the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather that loved his family and our gatherings especially as the miles separated us over the years. Dad we will miss you and cherish the memories, all your love and support over our lives and especially your sense of humour. A special, heartfelt thank you to brothers Blaine and Greg, sister Kathy and Uncle Ron and their families who gave so much love, support and time out of their lives especially during these final months. Also, our thanks to Dr. Sawchuk and the many Doctors, nurses and staff of the CancerCare Clinic, Concordia Hospital and Middlechurch Home for all their care and compassion. Prayers will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., both at St. Alphonsus Church, 315 Munroe Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Until we meet again, we love you and miss you. Rest in peace. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 www.gleneden-mb.ca

Wally will always be remembered for his charming smile and his love for the outdoors. When we lived on the farm in Hadashville I remember looking forward to the time when Wally, Brenie and family would stop by with their camper and stay the night. I had an opportunity to play with my younger cousins while our parents visited. We also found out for the first time from Wally that you used a casting rod and lures not a one cent hook and willow pole to catch a fish. May you find comfort in remembering all the happy moments Wally shared with those who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love and hugs cousins Bev, Chery, Trevor and Kristina - Posted by: Beverly Lovenuk (Cousin) on: Sep 18, 2012
