CAROLE TAYLOR It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Taylor on September 16, 2012 at the St. Pierre Hospital at the age of 72 years. Carole's memory will be cherished by her husband and love of her life, Wayne (of 54 years), sons Terry (Karin) and David (Ginny), grandchildren Danielle (Matt), Jared, Joel (Jessica), Randi (Kevin), Corey and Troy, as well as many family members and numerous friends. Carole married her soul mate and companion, Wayne, on July 12, 1958 and they began their wonderful life together. Carole loved spending time with her family and was extremely proud of her children, her greatest passion in life were her grandchildren. She would enjoy spending hours upon hours sewing and knitting for them. She was also an avid reader and shopper. She enjoyed playing bingo, often telling what she won, but never telling what she spent. She was a longtime fan of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (we all knew she was a more of a husband fan than a Bomber fan). Carole was a very kind-hearted and cheerful person who spoke her mind and was always ready for a good joke. She was wonderful company, loved helping with crosswords, loved beating us regularly at cards, enjoyed all sporting events of her grandchildren, always glad to be able to read and to knit baby outfits and blankets for family and friends. The family would also like to thank the staff at the St. Pierre Hospital Palliative Care unit for their care, compassion, and loving hearts over the past six months. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carole may be made to the Charitable Donation of your choice. In keeping with Carole's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church, 392 Main Street, St. Adolphe, MB. MY AUNTY CAROLE WAS A VERY KIND PERSON. WHEN MY MOM PASSED AWAY, HER AND MY UNCLE WAYNE, HELPED ME THROUGH THE HARD TIMES. WE WOULD GO FISHING AND AT NIGHT SHE PICKED UP PASTRY. TOUCHED MY LIFE AND MADE EVERYTHING BETTER. I WISH WE COULD HAVE STAYED IN TOUCH. I HAVE ALOT OF GOOD MEMORIES, I WILL MISS HER. TO MY UNCLE, AND MY COUSINS, I WISH I COULD SAY OR DO SOMETHING, BUT I KNOW GOD WILL WATCH OVER YOU. LOVE YOUR NIECE, AND COUSINS. - Posted by: D.J.B. (niece) on: Jun 06, 2013

Wayne, Terry, David, feel so sad for you loss. I remember the new COLOR tv that you Wayne bought for a special football game. That was the first color tv I have ever seen. I had no idea they excited. Wow you loved your football way back in approx 1970 when you lived on Alexander Ave on the other side of the tracks in Brooklands. Wow you were years before my time. You also had ham radio that you can talk to everyone all over the world. Wow I thought you were the coolest. You used to buy a carton of cigarettes once a week at approx 60 cents per pack times 8 pack wow you were rich, and you were smart you installed linoleum flooring in George Cheather's kitchen also my kitchen. As far as I know 1419 Logan Ave still has that same floor in it. I am sad that we all lost track of each other. If I can remember right Terry is a little older than me ? On Feb 15th I will be 54 years old. When I looked at Carol's picture it was as I remembered her features. You were an unbeatable team. All my sincere condolences to you, Terry, David & all your family. God bless, Louie M R Frost. - Posted by: louie frost ( louie cheater ) (george cheater's son ( step brother )) on: Feb 07, 2013

I can remember many good things about Carole and the one that stands out the most was how she cared for her two youngest brothers, being a mother when she was only 10 years of age. I am deeply saddened to know that we won't ever see each other again in this life and pray that we will meet again in the next. Our sincere condolences to Wayne and her entire family. - Posted by: Genevieve & Marcel Perchotte (Genevieve (step-sister)) on: Sep 21, 2012
