Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACOB (JAKE) MARTENS HIEBERT It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jake Hiebert, on September 18, 2012 at DeSalaberry Hospital, St. Pierre, MB Left to cherish his memory are his three children and their spouses: John (Claudette) Hiebert, Edith (Hubert) Alards and Linda (Dave) Muise, grandchildren: Dave (Rachelle) Moroz, Rene (Anita) Moroz, Vicki (Wayne) Gouldhawke, Marc (Stacey) Beliveau, Robin (Todd) Zielke, Shannon (Carl) Hoehn, Darryl (Bethany) Alards and Alyson (Michael) Tait, great-grandchildren: Dustin Schlag-Moroz, Dannica and Jesse Moroz, Cayden Guenette, Mackenzie, Abby and Madison Gouldhawke, Makayla Beliveau, Caitlin Alards, Mason and Alexa Tait, sister: Ann (Bert) Kehler, sisters-in-law: Katherina Bergen, Maria Sawatzky, Elizabeth Friesen, Susana Nickel, Anna Loewen, brother-in-law: Wilhelm (Dorothy) Unrau as well as nieces and nephews. Jake was predeceased by his parents Abram and Katherina Hiebert, sister: Mary Martens, one sister and great-grandchild in infancy, brothers-in-law: Bill Martens, Bernard Unrau, John Loeppky, Cornelius Bergen, Peter Friesen, Peter Thiessen, John Nickel, Herman Sawatzky, sister-in-law: Helena Loeppky. Dad was born on January 9,1929 in Grunthal, MB. For the past 15 years, his Heaven on Earth was his property in St. Labre, where he spent many happy days caring for his horses, dog and cats. He was independent, resourceful and lived his life on his own terms. A celebration of Jake's life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road. I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing. I remember one year the Easter martens gathering was at the hiebert's there was a large water poddle need the yard, jake took his home made stilts with his new suit on was going to see how far he make it into the water, off course he wiped out and you can imagine how it new suit looked, I kind of think he getting baptisted in the widenfeld churh and that's why he had goteen a new suit, I thought I would share that, again sorry to hear.peter wiebe - Posted by: peter wiebe (cousen) on: Sep 25, 2012
