ALAIN DURAND Ryan and Brittany Durand wish to announce the passing of their beloved dad, Alain Durand, 45, peacefully at home on September 4, 2012. He leaves to mourn his passing his mom and dad, Cecile and Claude, brother Guy, sister Monique (Les), niece Alycia, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Most grateful thanks go out to care givers, Shannon and Mike, Bernadette and cousin Michael. Thanks also to the palliative care staff in Steinbach for their care and support. I only had the oportunity to know Al (and Britanny) at a EI training here in Florida. I enjoyed his company, our diads together and the lunch that we two shared at Duffy's, talking about the government, conspiracies, and some of the mystical events of his life. I felt like we would have been friends for a long time if given the chance. Sometimes we just meet somebody and it takes about two minutes and you connect. My guess is I will cross his path again another time and it will feel exactly the same. My sympathy to all his friends and family, especially Britanny.
