MERVIN EVERETT STEVENS Mervin Everett Stevens passed away quietly in his sleep on September 21, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Reita (Spencer), brothers Seymour and Leroy, and sisters Adelaide (Robinson) and Esther (Cartwright). Merv leaves to mourn his four children Ron, Greg, Brenda (Jerg) and Debra (Stitt), plus many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Merv was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Funeral service will be held Friday, September 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made to Veterans Affairs. As family we take great comfort in Merv's unwavering faith in Christ and His promises. to be absent from the body is to be at home with the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 5:8
