HAL ENNS Hal - the first of nine children - was born at Winnipeg General Hospital in 1931 to Nicolai and Justina Enns who farmed at Domain, 20 miles south of Winnipeg. He had a belief and faith in Jesus Christ as his personal saviour and was an active member in the Mennonite Brethren Church. Hal met Louise Unger in Winnipeg and they married in 1955. Hal was involved in various endeavours including farming, trucking, R.V. dealer, campground and residential land development, farm machinery dealer, Winnipeg's first waterslide park, as well as a car dealer. Thanks to Deer Lodge Centre for the excellent care until his passing. The family is thankful that his difficult pilgrimage here is complete and look forward to seeing him in the new world prepared by God for all his children. Hal is survived by all eight of his siblings: Mary and Rudy Pauls, Katie and Henry Braun, Helene and Dave Teigrob, Jake and Pat Enns, Peter and Gerlinde Enns, Fred and Jolyne Enns, Irene and Doug Gateson, and Ernie Enns. Hal and Louise were blessed with four children, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter: Kerry and Lori - Nicole and Steve Von Riesen, Baby Ember, Mark and Stephanie Enns, Stacey and fiancé Jason Kasdorf; Bradley and Joanne - Thomas, Samara; Victor and Patricia - Taylor and friend Kristin, Andrew; Vera and Richard Thiessen - Marlee, Chad. Private family burial before funeral. Funeral, Saturday, September 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastview Community Church, 3500 DeVries Avenue, East St. Paul.
