Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFUSAE (FLORENCE) HIROSE It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Florence on September 27, 2012, in her home at the age of 90. Florence is survived by her loving sister, Sue Yoshino, her sons Gerry (Janet), Randy (Lesley), Ken and Thomas, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Harold Hirose, her sisters, Kay Matsukubo and Kiko Hirose, and her brother, Toshio Omoto. Florence was a caring, humble person and was one to never complain with her branded expression Everything is Okie Doke . She was the force behind her husband, Harold Hirose, who was a leader in the Japanese-Canadian community. Mom will be remembered for her honest opinion that was only shared when it was asked. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Riverwood Square. The service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
