TODD LEO MASKOW November 28, 1970 - September 24, 2012 It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of our loving husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and friend, Todd Leo Maskow. On Monday, September 24, 2012, at the age of 41 years, Todd passed away with family at his side. He left us doing what he loved...riding his Harley Davidson. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 24 years, Rose and son Dylan. His parents, Maureen and Wilfred, his brothers, Kurt, Trent (Roxanne), Kelly (Sherry). His sisters-in-law, Elaine (Dennis Poirier), Norma (Ed Bordush). His nieces and nephews, Kaleigh (Colton) and Brendon Poirier, Mary Maskow, Harley Maskow and Donavin Skogan, Brendan, Kaitlyn and Brianna Cobbe and uncles, aunties and cousins. Todd was born in Winnipeg, MB on November 28, 1970. He lived in the city for five years until the family moved to Inwood where he was raised and lived until his untimely passing. Todd was exceptionally hard working and was dedicated to any task, great or small. He really enjoyed the outdoors and looked forward to snowmobile trips, long rides on his bike, quading and most of all, his passion, hunting for the big buck. Todd's family always came first and he had a special gift in the way he bonded with his nieces and nephews and any children that crossed his path. Although Todd had many friends, his best friend was Dylan. They enjoyed spending a lot of time together like their mornings getting ready for work or just preparing for the day and weekend events. Todd always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. Honey, you were my love, my forever, my best friend. I will miss you so very much and will never forget the time we had together. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Inwood Community Hall. Father James DeBeer officiating. Interment to follow at the Inwood Cemetery. We would like to thank the first responders, EMS, and all involved at the accident site and allowing us the extra time to say our goodbyes to our Todd. And thank you to the doctors and nurses at SICU at Health Sciences Centre for their expertise and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SICU - Health Sciences Foundation 1-800-679-8493. MACKENZIE FUNERAL CHAPEL STONEWALL (204) 467-2525 mackhome@mts.net

Although we havn't been in touch lately, I will always remember Todd as a good friend in our wild growing up years. • I got to know Todd many years ago when we worked together at Inwood Creamery. Todd would come into the office and visit with me every day. No matter what the topic, he was always enthusiastic and passionate. Todd was never shy about making his opinion known. He was also pretty much guaranteed to bring a smile. Though Todd was generally full of fun, I got to know him as a person with a lot of depth once you looked beyond his playful exterior. Todd was very loving, loyal and dependable. He was someone you could always count on; he’d never let you down. Though I hadn’t seen Todd in many years, he continued to have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with Rose and Dylan, Maureen and Wilfred, and all that mourn Todd’s untimely passing. - Posted by: Heather Fiebelkorn (Dolyniuk) (Friend) on: Oct 04, 2012

  • I did not work a whole lot with Todd, but i always enjoyed talking to him at our regular Farm Manager meetings. Todd was honest and passionate about his job. He was well respected and looked up to. Even with Todd's booming voice, he was always very approachable and had a sincere caring for what was going on in the other person's life. He always had a practical and sensible approach to things at work. He will definitely be missed at Puratone. We've lost more than a colleague, but a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Rose and Dylan, and family. - Posted by: Eric Klassen (Co-worker) on: Sep 29, 2012
