I was so saddened to hear about Mr. Bell's passing. I met Mr. Bell or 'grandpa' as I called him when I moved in down the street from him at age 7. I become best friends with his daughter Pamela and have many memories of Mr. & Mrs. Bell taking us both on trips to the states, the races, spending x-mas mornings at their house and sitting with grandpa while he told us stories of his days in the war and police force. He was a great man and will be missed greatly. -Till we meet again - Posted by: Tara Shrimpton (Neighbor/Family Friend) on: Oct 03, 2012

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Bell when I was employed by Manitoba Yourh Corrections in the 1980's. He was a true gentleman, always willing to share a story and his time. The Manitoba Youth Centre was not the same without him after he retired and he will undoubtedly leave a huge gap in the lives of those who knew him. I wish to express sincere condolences to his family. R.I.P. old friend. - Posted by: Bill Stevens (Colleague) on: Oct 02, 2012
