Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE HONORE SIMARD August 4, 1924 - October 1, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Theodore Honore Simard our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Theodore will be missed greatly by his loving wife Rachelle (nee Michaud) of 58 years, his children Robert (Janet), Doris (David), Roland (Helen), Elise, Gilles (Heather), Maurice, Lynne (Chris), and grandchildren Jason, Rachelle (Elliott), Darrell, Micheal, Jennifer, Michael, Morgan, Ashley, Samantha, Matthew, Alicia, Scott, Ryan, Maddison and great-grandchildren Zachary and Jessica-Jade. He also leaves behind his sisters Therese Courcelles, Ange-Aime Bremaud, Juliette Malo, and his brothers Jean and Andre, and many in-laws. Theodore was predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste Simard and Blanche Cormier, grandson James, daughter-in-law Nicole, sisters Beatrice Catellier, Cecile Groot and Annette Gobeil and his brother Conrad. Theodore was raised on a farm near La Broquerie MB, a place that remained dear to him throughout his life. He lived a long and fulfilling life spending much time with his family. Nothing gave him more pleasure than a smiling grandchild. He had a passion for gardening, walking, animals and nature, and other interests that he accumulated throughout the years. The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for taking good care of him. Services will be held at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 avenue de la Cathedrale, on Friday October 5, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in La Broquerie Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
