Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYDIA SCHILLBERG The angels are rejoicing as they welcome one of their own. Peacefully, our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is now safely in their arms. Her family was always the source of her greatest joy, and she was so proud of all of us. Lydia was born in Latvia on November 16, 1919 and immigrated in late 1951. Our best times and happiest memories were at Red Rock Lake in the Whiteshell where mom spent most of her summers. Whether blueberry or mushroom picking, her fingers were never idle. Her cinnamon buns were the best in the world and were enjoyed by everyone. Her gentle kindness and sense of humour was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Each of us have our own special memories of precious times with her. Special thanks to Judy and staff in the adult day program at Luther Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
