JOSEPHINE KOLIDA On Friday, October 5, 2012, Josephine passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 93. Josephine was born November 19, 1918 in Port Arthur (Thunder Bay), Ontario and is survived by loving son Robert (Roberta), grandson Ronald (Sharon) and great-grandson Fergus of Winnipeg, grandson Robert (Sherry) and great-granddaughter Sydney of Mississauga, sisters Violet, Lily and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Michael in 2001, parents Edward and Lena Wachowski, brother Paul and sisters Mary, Anne and Theresa. Josephine spent all of her adult life in Winnipeg and had a long career at Great-West Life Assurance Company. She spent the past 11 years of her retirement living comfortably at Amber Meadow. Josephine will be remembered as a gentle soul who always had a kind word for everyone she met. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Unit 3-1 and Unit 3-2 of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. In accordance with Josephine's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
