TERRI LEE CAIN June 27, 1960 - October 4, 2012 On Thursday, October 4, 2012, Terri Lee Cain passed away at the age of 52 years. She had battled cancer for the last three years and died of complications related to the disease. Terri is survived by her husband Philip; daughter Cara (Marc); son Christopher (Elizabeth); brother Larry (Gisele); sister Carol; nieces and nephews Melody (Roger) Cushnie, Tammy Davis, Aaron Taylor (Judy), Kevin and Laura McNish, Sean (Jamie), Randi and Michael (Linsday), as well as numerous friends and honourary grandkids. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Marge and Jack McNish, amongst other aunts and uncles. Terri grew up in the Wolseley area for most of her life before settling in St. Boniface. She attended Laura Secord and Gordon Bell schools. She worked in a variety of garment factories over the years and spent the last 14 years at Phil Mar Trade and Bindery. Terri loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Above all, Terri had a very deep affection for animals and had many pets over the years, as well as the three cats and three dogs she leaves behind. The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Khran, Dr. Wirtzfeld, the staff at CancerCare Manitoba, and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who helped Terri through her final hours. A celebration of Terri's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12 at the Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave., across from Brookside Cemetery. Every deer that passes, we will think of you. In lieu of flowers, donations in Terri's name can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 9Z9.
