Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDINAH FRIESEN Hildena Molly Friesen passed away at the Carman Memorial Hospital, on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the age of 91. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Dennis and Brian, daughters, Yvonne (Reg) Laufersweiler, Marilyn Walters and daughter-in-law Marg, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dinah was born on June 8, 1921, to Conrad and Amalia Schwab. She was predeceased by her husband, Pete in 1990, son, Wilfred (Boyd), three brothers, Edward, Reinhold and Henry Schwab, four sisters, Lena Hamilton, Martha Podjan, Ruth Schnell and Eleanor Steg. She is survived by four sisters, Esther (George) Hoffman, Dorothy Schnell, Emily Kwast, Alice (Howard) Pomrenke and one brother, Gordon (Ida) Schwab. Dinah and Pete farmed for 20 years in Ridgeville, Manitoba until retiring to Carman, Manitoba in 1972. To my good friends, Ed and Jan Kardal and Darlene Karlowsky, I sincerely appreciate everything you have done for me. To my family – I will always love you. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Doyle’s Funeral Home, Carman, Manitoba. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
