EDMUND ARTHUR TURCOTTE On October 8, 2012, Ed passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Ed is survived by his wife Judy and grandson Ethan Lustig. Predeceased by his daughter, Shelly Turcotte. Survived by his siblings, Shirley (Vern) Zubko, Diane Kennedy, Brian (Tracy) Turcotte. Ed was born September 20, 1936 and was raised in Winnipeg. Ed's career in the insurance industry spanned for more than 50 years. He was Sr. V.P. with Johnson Higgins for over 20 years until his retirement. Ed continued in other ventures before moving back to Winnipeg in 2002. Thanks to all staff and doctors at Health Sciences Centre for their care. Funeral Service will take place Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SPCA (Humane Society) or D'Arcy's Animal Rescue Centre.   • Judy, please accept our condolences to you and Ethan on Ed's passing. I remember the joy Ed had when we took Ethan for lunch in Victoria and when you were all at our house and he was in the lake. We had many good times together at your home here and I'll think of those often. Ed often spoke to me of how much he depended on you during Shelly's illness.
