MARGARET SUSAN RACK (NEGLADIUK) Peacefully and surrounded with love, Margaret passed away at Grace Hospice on October 9, 2012, where she had resided for the past month. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Thelma, Lorraine and Anne, brothers John and Bill, and her husband Al in February 2011. Margaret is survived by her daughter Barbara, son Lyle (Heather), grandchildren Michael (Kerri), Lisa (Dustin), and great-grandchildren, Kaynen and Brea. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Jack Ostrov, niece Sherry, nephew Lorne (April), great-nephews Jordan, Alexander, and great-niece Samantha. Mom was a very special person, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her happiest times were those spent with her family. She was a gracious, kind lady whose warm smile, and friendly, positive personality had a way of drawing others towards her. She was blessed with many wonderful and lasting friendships throughout her life for which she was grateful. Her faith and love of God gave her the strength to face challenges with grace and dignity. She will be fondly remembered for the many hearts she touched. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, students and Health Care workers at CancerCare, The Respiratory Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, and Grace Hospice for the excellent care extended to Mom throughout her journey and in making her last days comfortable. Special thanks to Mom's Palliative Care Nurse, Anne Ediger, for her care and compassion during the past five years. We are also grateful to everyone for their support, phone calls, numerous cards, visits, flowers and the kindnesses shown to Mom during her hospital stays. Memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or to a charity of one's choice. At rest in God's garden. A precious life, a beautiful memory.
