Edna was born in Elm Creek, MB, and lived in Gunton for most of her life. Mom's priority was raising her family. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her children George, Leonard, Darlene, Bryan (Liz), Valerie, Gerald, Heather (Garry), and Karen (Greg), her grandchildren Lenore (Kris), Bill, Aaron (Erin-Brie), Michelle, Brent, Scott, Cory, Kyle and Ashley, her great-grandchildren Max, Chase and Finley, her sister Marlene (Ken) and lifelong friend Violet. She was predeceased by her husband William (Billy), her parents George and Emma Pfeifer, her sister Lorraine and brother Harold. We would like to thank the staff at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital and Victoria General Hospital, who were kind, thoughtful and supportive during this difficult period. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon, with Pastor Claire Speary officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and honourary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Teulon District Handivan Service, Box 89, Teulon, MB, R0C 3B0. You will be forever in our hearts Mom. We take great comfort knowing you are with Dad now. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon, in care of arrangements.

We'll miss her smile and organizational skills at Cedar Lodge when we deliver their monthly dinner with meals on wheels. She always had the table set for all the ladies, money collected and was waiting for our arrival. Our deepest sympathies as you go through this difficult time. - Posted by: Doug and Noreen Stone (many) on: Oct 16, 2012
