To the family - so sorry about your loss - I saw Ethel and chatted with her at the Transair Reunion last year. Her and I worked together for many years at the airlines (because there were so many mergers!!) I always admired her strength, intelligence, sense of humor and words of wisdom. She was a grand lady and beautiful person inside and out. She will be missed but will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew her as she will in mine. Farewell Ethel - you have earned your wings and will look after those you left behind from above. - Posted by: Linda Lafantaisie (Co-worker at Transair/Pacific Western Airlines/Canadian Airlines) on: Oct 19, 2012

I met your mother thru my work and over the years my husband & myself enjoyed her's & Marg's company. We had gone over to their lovely home on the Golf Course here in Sandy Hook, and we had many a laugh. We are so sorry for your loss, but you know she was a wonderful person and will miss her. - Posted by: Elaine Bahuaud (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2012

Ethel has been a special friend to me since we met in Stonewall in 1959. Her kindness, support and intellect have been a constant source of inspiration to me. We spent hours discussing childcare, schooling, local and international events, new trends and diverse philosophies. She was so interested in everything, and loved her golf and curling. Oh what laughs we had! She was always there to pitch in and help when the crises of life, large and small, hit. You could always count on her no matter what the situation. I am bereft to think she will no longer be with us, but so grateful for her unfailing friendship these 53 years. My condolences to her wonderful family, and many thanks for the loving care you showered on her in her final years. With much affection, Janet - Posted by: Janet Baird (Friend) on: Oct 16, 2012
