Uncle Dave had such a great laugh, and his eyes crinkled up with that wonderful laugh. Easter 2011 I was in Winnipeg and went to church. When we were singing hymns, I heard this wonderful tenor voice behind me and turned to see that it was Uncle Dave! He had that beautiful voice into his 80's. From when I was a little girl I loved him and will miss him. Love to my cousins, so sorry I couldn't be there with you today. Joanne - Posted by: Joanne Dueck (niece) on: Oct 20, 2012

Uncle Dave was a godly man and now, because of his strong faith in Jesus Christ, he is a resurrected man. We shall miss him (and his great tenor voice!), while at the same time we look forward to a great reunion. It's only "Bye for now." A really special man who was a blessing to all who knew him. I have no doubt he helped out so many people, beyond what one would expect him to, with his store on Keewatin. My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. - Posted by: Gordon Brauer () on: Oct 18, 2012
