MARGARET FRIESEN (nee ESAU) November 17, 1930 - October 18, 2012 After a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, Margaret passed away peacefully on October 18, 2012 at the age of 81 years. Margaret is survived by four daughters, Sharon (Craig) Glays of Winnipeg, Irene (Rick) Yallits of East St. Paul, Elaine Zacharias of Winnipeg, Nancy (Brad) Vokey of East St. Paul; 10 grandchildren, David, Matthew and Daniel Glays, Stefanie, Bryan and Kyle Yallits, Wyatt and Hailey Zacharias, Alex and Cierra Vokey, one sister Helen (Henry) Kasper and one brother Rudy (Sylvia) Esau. Predeceased by husband John, parents Henry and Lena Esau, one sister and three brothers, two in infancy, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law. Special thanks to Dr. Grenier and the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care Program and Home Care Services. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, Winnipeg with interment in the Glenlea Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Viewing at the church prior to the service.
