Condolences to Bryan and his family. We (the Labchuk family) knew his parents well, as our fathers worked together for many years. Our prayers are with you and treasure the memories you have and always share them with your children. - Posted by: Sandi Penner (nee: Labchuk) (Friend) on: Oct 22, 2012

I would like to express mine and David's deepest sympathy to Bryan, Justine and Christopher. Your mother and grandmother loved you so much and was so very proud of you. She loved to share your accomplishments. You are the reason she wanted to live. Auntie Stella was more than an aunt to me. She was like a second mother. From the time I was a toddler, I knew the way to her house where I would always get a warm and loving welcome. Many of my childhood memories involve times shared with her from going to the movies, camping or dancing in the rec room at Auntie Stella and Uncle Albert's house. Auntie Stella was always patient, understanding and a lot of fun to be around. I was very lucky to be able to spend more time with her after I retired. David and I loved to play cards with her and Uncle Albert. She would keep us laughing with her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. Auntie Stella loved to tell stories about her youth on the farm and her early years in Winnipeg. She gave me a better understanding of the challenges she faced but also the wonderful experiences she had. We also spent time together going to appointments which we always ended with lunch so it seemed more like an outing. Auntie Stella went through a lot over the last few years but she handled it with courage and optimism. She never complained or asked " why me?". She just dealt with it. I will miss her terribly. We always ended each conversation or visit with " I love you ". So Auntie Stella, I love you. - Posted by: Theresa Murray (niece) on: Oct 21, 2012
