Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS WEST November 16, 1930 - October 23, 2012 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Doug. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Norah; daughters: Julie (Derrick), Susan (Rick), and grandchildren: Jamie and Nicole. Also missing him will be his granddogs: Rocky, Meeko and Ranger. He will be dearly missed by his extended family in both Canada and England. His enjoyment in life was travelling with his family, flying and reading. Cremation has taken place. Funeral is on Saturday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. A special thank-you to the 4th floor staff of Poseidon Care Centre for all their compassion and support. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Doug's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or to a charity of your choice.
