Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARYL (JOHN) RUSNAK It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Daryl (John) Rusnak, age 57. John passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 with his loving wife Olga at his side holding his hand. Family members were with John at the time of his passing. John was predeceased by his mother, Bernice Rusnak in 1982, his mother-in-law, Deanna in 1982. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Olga, his dad John (Rusty) Rusnak Sr., sister Donna (Eugene), brother Doug (Gladys), his in-laws: father-in-law, Ernie, Colleen (Phil), Joe (Jeanette), Donny, Karen (Robert), Steven and numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, some as far away as Nova Scotia, his special Aunt Edie and cousin Tish. John was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and resided in Winnipeg where he met and married his soul mate Olga, of 30 years. Theirs was a true love match, made in Heaven. John and Olga were inseparable, lifelong partners. John had recently received a 10 year achievement award where he enjoyed working at Canadian Blood Services, Logistics Support Department His soul was full of love, generosity, warmth and kindness. His sense of humour and laughter touched all of our hearts. Family and friends meant the world to John. A celebration of John's life will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, with reception to follow. After the celebration a private interment with family will be at Sunnyside Cemetery (Birds Hill, MB), cremation has taken place. Our family would like to thank all the staff at CancerCare (Dr. Leylek) and at Riverview (Cheryl) for their dedication and support. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our friend Linda Hayda for her love and support. There are so many other people to thank, you know who you are.
